My background

I have always had a passion to help others. I believe that therapy can be beneficial for anyone at many stages of life and for different types of issues. I believe that mental health is a very important part of health, well-being, healing, growth, positive perspective, and living a fulfilled life.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I have been working with children, adolescents, and families for over 10 years in school-based therapy, non-profits, enrichment classes, and group homes. For the past 9 years I have specialized experience working with children 0-18 years old, adults, and families with many types of mental health, emotional and behavioral issues. I have experience working with individuals with impulse control disorders, mood disorders, thinking disorders and relationship concerns. I take a strength based approach we will work on your strengths and develop skills to manage your emotions and challenges. I use a wide range of psychotherapy modalities based on the individuals need.
